Is ShiftPlanner free?
Yes. You download ShiftPlanner for free and plan your shifts without buying anything. Wage calculation, PDF export, more shift types and other extras are optional with Premium as an in-app purchase.
Do I need an account?
No. ShiftPlanner works without an account, login or registration. Your data stays on your device.
Do night shifts past midnight work?
Yes. When a shift ends after midnight, ShiftPlanner counts the hours correctly into the next day.
Which shift patterns are available?
Templates for 2-2-2-2, 4 on / 4 off, continuous shifts, 2-2-3, DuPont, weekly rotating shifts and 5 on / 2 off. You can create your own rhythms from scratch.
Is there a ShiftPlanner app for Apple Watch?
Yes. On Apple Watch you see your next shift, the month and your hours, and you can add shifts. The Android app has no watch app.
Is there a ShiftPlanner app for Android?
The Android version is coming soon. Once it is available, you will find the Google Play link here.
Can I calculate my pay?
Yes, with Premium: hourly wage or monthly salary plus premiums for night, Sunday and holiday work. The result is an estimate; your payslip is what counts.
Can I share my schedule with coworkers?
Yes, with Premium you export your schedule as a file. Coworkers with ShiftPlanner see it as a second row in the month.
Which public holidays does ShiftPlanner know?
The public holidays of all 16 German states, Austria and Switzerland. They are calculated in the app, without internet. You choose your region with Premium.
Does the alarm ring even when the app is closed?
Yes. The alarms are registered with the system and ring even when the app is closed.
What happens when I swap a shift?
You change only that one day. When you roll out your shift pattern again, the change is kept.
Can I enter several shifts on one day?
Yes, including different times and your own note.
How do I back up my data?
As a backup file that you can save and restore. On iPhone with Premium you can also use your private iCloud, on Android the device backup.
How do I cancel my subscription?
In the settings of your Apple Account under Subscriptions. If you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period, the subscription does not renew.
Which languages does ShiftPlanner come in?
12 languages: German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish and Portuguese.
